Metallic Leather - Leather with a Metallic Look
Metallic leather or metallisé leather refers to smooth leather with a metallic appearance.
There are two methods to achieve this effect:
In the first method, the aim is to replicate the appearance of bare metal. This is achieved by applying a metallic foil to the leather. This technique is usually used for shoes and bags.
In the second method, a slight metallic effect is achieved. The leather already has a base color, and then a top coat with metallic effects is applied. This results in leather that has a metallic sheen. It is mostly used for shoes, bags, and clothing.
